What the mobile app is for
The BuildColab mobile app is a companion to the web app, made for the construction site. It does not replace the web app: detailed work such as editing a bill of quantities (BoQ), preparing offer requests or building a schedule stays in the browser. On the phone you have your projects at a glance, the project files, the task boards, the notifications that need your action and the AI assistant BORO. Files you upload from the phone, for example photos from the site, land in the same project folders your colleagues see in the web app.
The app is in Bulgarian and English. Your theme, language and selected company are saved on your profile, so they follow you between the app and the web app.
How to install the app from the web app
- In the web app, click your avatar at the right of the top bar.
- Choose Get the mobile app (Мобилно приложение). The BuildColab on your phone (BuildColab на телефона) dialog opens.
- On a computer, point your phone's camera at the QR code under Scan with your phone camera (Сканирайте с камерата на телефона) and open the link it shows. The code opens the right store for your phone.
- Or click the store badge under Or download it from the store: (Или го изтеглете от магазина:). Get it on Google Play opens the app's Google Play page. The App Store badge is shown as Coming soon to the App Store (Скоро в App Store) until the iPhone version is released, and it is not a link yet.
- Install the app, open it and sign in with your BuildColab e-mail and password.
Close the dialog with Close (Затвори), the ✕ in its corner or Esc.

Signing in and accounts
- Use the same e-mail and password as in the web app. There is no separate mobile account.
- You cannot create a new account in the mobile app. Create it in the web app (see Create an account and sign in) or accept your company's invitation there, then sign in on the phone.
- If you forgot your password, use Forgot password in the app or in the web app. The reset link in the e-mail opens the reset page in your browser.
- The app keeps its own session: signing out of the web app does not sign you out of the phone. Changing your password ends the sessions on your other devices, including the phone.
Common questions
Where do I download the BuildColab mobile app?
From Google Play on Android: search for "BuildColab", or open buildcolab.com/app on your phone, which takes you to the right store. In the web app, click your avatar and choose Get the mobile app (Мобилно приложение) for a QR code and the store links.
Is there an iPhone version?
The iPhone version is coming to the App Store. Until it is released, the App Store badge in the web app shows Coming soon to the App Store (Скоро в App Store) and is not a link. Once it is released, the same QR code and the link buildcolab.com/app take iPhone users to the App Store, with no change on your side.
Do I need a separate account for the app?
No. Sign in with the e-mail and password you use in the web app. You see the same companies and projects, with the same permissions.
Why can't I register in the mobile app?
Accounts are created in the web app. Register there, or accept your company's invitation there, and then sign in on the phone.
Does the app cost anything?
No, the app is free to download. Your company's plan decides which modules you can use, exactly as in the web app.
I closed the app banner or the corner card. How do I get the app now?
Click your avatar in the top bar and choose Get the mobile app (Мобилно приложение). The menu item is always there. The banner and the card are shown only once on each browser.
