Model & keys

By default BORO runs on AI models that BuildColab provides, and the usage is paid in credits. On request, BuildColab can enable two extra options for a company; then the page Model & keys (Модел и ключове) appears:

• Default model (Модел по подразбиране). Auto (Авто) lets BORO choose: a fast model for everyday work, a stronger one for heavy analysis and background tasks. You can instead fix one model for the company. The page describes each option, for example "Fast and capable — everyday work" or "Deepest reasoning — complex analyses, costs more". With model choice enabled, each user can also switch the model in the model chip under the message field.
• Company Anthropic key (optional) (Фирмен ключ за Anthropic (по желание)). Paste your company's own key from the AI provider ("Paste API key…", Save). Without a key BORO runs on the BuildColab platform and uses credits; with your key, the AI usage is billed to your account with that provider. Keys are stored encrypted and never shown again; the status shows Connected (Свързан) with the last characters, or Not configured (Не е конфигуриран). Use "Replace key…" to change it and the bin to remove it.

Without these options, BORO always uses Auto and the model chip cannot be changed. In some setups a separate Models (Модели) page lists the models of each provider with Visible in list, Recommended, Reasoning effort (Default, Minimal, Low, Medium, High) and Thinking (Adaptive, Off).

Voice

The page Voice (Глас) holds two switches for dictation in the BORO panel ("Dictate messages with the microphone in the composer (Ctrl+M). Nothing is sent until you press send."):

• Send automatically after dictation (Изпращай автоматично след диктовка). Off: the text waits in the field so you can check it.
• Read replies aloud after dictation (Чети отговорите при диктовка). BORO speaks its reply while writing it when you dictated the message.

MCP access

The page MCP access (MCP достъп) lists, under Connected AI tools (MCP), the external AI tools you connected to your BuildColab account, such as Claude or ChatGPT. Click Revoke access (Прекрати достъп) to disconnect one at once. "No connected tools." means none. See Connecting Claude, ChatGPT and others (MCP).

Governance: usage, limits and the action log

The page Governance (Управление) is for the whole company.

Usage & limits

• This month (Този месец) and Today (Днес): credits used by BORO and the number of messages. With a monthly limit set, a bar shows how much of it is used (orange from 70%, red from 90%).
• Monthly credit limit (Месечен лимит кредити): the most credits BORO may use in a calendar month. Leave it empty (No limit) for no limit. When it is reached, BORO answers "The monthly AI credit limit for this company is reached. An administrator can raise it in the AI settings." until the next month or until the limit is raised. The limit applies to the BORO panel and background tasks, not to connected MCP tools.
• Requests per minute (per user) (Съобщения в минута (на потребител)): 1 to 600, default 30. It applies to each person separately, in the BORO panel and to calls from connected AI tools. Above it: "Rate limit reached: at most {n} messages per minute. Please wait a moment."
• Disable assistant (Изключи асистента) / Enable assistant (Включи асистента): switches BORO off or on for the whole company, including connected AI tools. While off, every message gets "The AI assistant is disabled for this company."

How to set a monthly limit or switch BORO off

1. Open BORO Settings → Governance.
2. Type a number in Monthly credit limit (or clear it for no limit), and set Requests per minute (per user).
3. To switch BORO off, click Disable assistant.
4. Click Save (Запази). Nothing changes until you save.

Action log

Action log (Дневник на действията) lists the most recent tool calls of BORO and of connected AI tools in your company: "Recent tool calls by the assistant and connected MCP clients." Each row shows the action's name, the badge MCP when it came from a connected tool, a check mark or a cross for success or failure, the time and the duration. "No actions recorded yet." means none.

How BORO is charged

BORO uses the company's credit wallet, the same wallet that pays for meeting transcription and 3D/CAD processing. The full rules of the wallet are on Credits (BORO, file processing).

With a company API key (see Model & keys), BORO replies are billed by your AI provider instead of in credits.

Where you see the credit balance

• In the BORO panel. The credit chip under the message field shows a lightning icon and the balance, for example "412.6 credits". It turns orange when the balance is low and red when it is used up.
• The credits sheet. Click the chip: the sheet Credits (Кредити) shows the balance, Top up credits (Зареди кредити), the split "Included: {included} · Purchased: {topup}" and Credit movements (Движение на кредитите) grouped by day. Each row shows what the credits were for, the time, the model and the amount (minus or plus). Click a BORO conversation row to open the conversation it came from.
• On each reply, the cost under the answer.
• Admin → Organization → BORO credits, and in the file manager toolbar. See Credits (BORO, file processing).

1. The credit chip under the message field.

3. The split between included and purchased credits.
4. Credit movements by day; a conversation row opens that conversation.

When credits run out

BORO can start a reply while the balance is above zero. At zero the panel shows Credits exhausted (Кредитите са изчерпани): "BORO cannot reply without credits. Top up or upgrade your plan." with Top up credits (Зареди кредити) and Upgrade plan (Надстрой плана). Connected AI tools get "Your BORO credit balance is empty." Everything else in BuildColab keeps working. Credit packs are added at once; the monthly allowance refills at the start of the next monthly window.
