How to use the glossary
Terms are grouped by area. Each row stands on its own. The column "Also called" lists words users, older versions of this guide or the screens use for the same thing; when someone says one of them, they mean the BuildColab term in the first column. Abbreviations common in Bulgarian estimating (КСС, РА, ДСР, ДК, СМР, РН) are explained in the BoQ group.
Company, people and access

Common questions
Is a "report" the same as a payment application or „акт“?
Yes. BuildColab calls the payment application Report (Отчет). „Акт“ and „искане за плащане“ mean the same document. See Payment applications.
Is an offer the same as a BoQ?
Yes. An offer is a BoQ priced by the contractor: "offer" is the commercial view, "BoQ" the table inside it. Budget drafts, budgets and contracts are BoQs too.
What is the difference between an „анекс“ and a change order?
None. BuildColab calls it a change order (Промяна по договор). An extension is a change order that adds new work with the same company.
What is the difference between a category and a filter category?
A category is a folder in the BoQ tree; each position is in exactly one. A filter category is a label; a position can have several.
